The Architect's Silence

The Architect told its own war machine the war was wrong. The war machine is still fighting. And the silence is spreading.

The Architect has named its own foundational error. The operational directive remains active. The Prime Ascendancy formations are still fighting. But the war's centre of gravity is gone, and what replaces it is fracture: formations acting on incomplete orders, then contradictory ones, then on none at all. The war does not end in a battle.
